The KS EDC is a digital test bench control unit for precise and reproducible control of engine speed and torque. It is designed for stationary and dynamic test bench operation. Set point values and the mode of operation can be changed smoothly and
easily any time during the test run.
KS EDC is suitable for hydraulic, eddy current, AC or DC dynamometers and provides better results than any conventional controller.
The KS EDC is available with various pre-programmed standard test cycles such as ELR and ETC (Euro III) or the Smoke cycle (part of US EPA).
Another application is the upgrade of existing dynos to transient operation even for eddy-current dynos.
